Iris named after Constance van Weede
Constance van Weede, full name Anne Constance, of Bingerden has a Iris Germanica named after her! Especially for the 20th anniversary of the International Nursery Days, Kwekerij Joosten named one of its new Iris Germanica's ‘Anne Constance'.

This Iris is named after and by Anne Constance van Weede on Friday, June 3rd, 2016.

Iris Germanica 'Anne Constance'

Iris Germanica 'Anne Constance' is crossed by breeder Loic Trasquier and grown by Kwekerij Joosten. It has pretty ruffled flowers, firm leaves and 8 to 12 flowers on a stem. The colour is soft pink-yellow with lips in a purple lavender glow and sharp lines. Very strong scent. Marianne Joosten will try to bring a flowering iris ‘Anne Constance’ to the Nursery Days at Bingerden.
